I first came to yoga in 1984 just after the birth of my second daughter. I had been working in a very stressful job and had developed repetitive strain injury and was experiencing debilitating pain in my hands, arms and shoulders. On the advice of my mechanic who also happened to be a yoga teacher I joined his local community class - Richard Adamo taught a challenging type of Ashtanga yoga.
My own practice has continued to grow, influenced by Iyengar, Vinyasa flow, Ashtanga, Scaravelli and renowned teachers Tara Fraser, Howard Napper, David Sye, Peter Blackaby and Gary Carter. I teach my own style of Hatha yoga in Long Melford, Suffolk which aims to support the individualʼs needs to encourage personal growth and better health.
